[00:02:51] Lori: got back from the doctors. You had a pacemaker put

[00:02:53] Lori: in. Yes. let's

[00:02:55] Lori: about a, how, what happened?

[00:02:57] pacemaker

[00:02:57] Storm: So with my pacemaker, yeah, it start it, I think it started,

[00:03:01] Storm: I

[00:03:02] Storm: don't have like a, a heart disease. I

[00:03:06] Storm: did something I think really stupid. no.

[00:03:09] Storm: And when we were

[00:03:10] Storm: doing the gladiator,

[00:03:11] Storm: getting

[00:03:12] Storm: ready to do the documentary, because of my five knee replacements, I've lost weight.

[00:03:17] Storm: Mm-hmm. Now

[00:03:18] Storm: I'm not a woman that wants to lose

[00:03:20] Storm: weight. Okay.

[00:03:21] Storm: People say I look great. I

[00:03:23] Storm: I'm too thin. But,

[00:03:25] Storm: I tried to, for the first time I tried to do growth hormone. Okay. And, and I think that, ever since then, that's when

[00:03:32] Storm: my heart's

[00:03:33] Storm: been

[00:03:34] Lori: acting up. Wow. That's, I mean, that's kind of scary. I mean, yeah.

[00:03:38] Lori: How did you realize something was really off

[00:03:41] Lori: and wrong? What happened? Well,

[00:03:43] Storm: because I was fainting a lot. Okay. And

[00:03:47] Storm: yeah. And

[00:03:48] Storm: the reason, but because

[00:03:49] Storm: my fainting

[00:03:50] Storm: was because my heart was That's insane. But it's also, the problem is that because

[00:03:56] Storm: of my five

[00:03:57] Storm: knee replacements,

[00:03:58] Storm: being a

[00:03:59] Storm: life fitness recovery coach,

[00:04:01] Storm: it's putting so much stress on my heart and my body because I still,

[00:04:06] Storm: I still continue to

[00:04:07] Storm: be very active.

[00:04:09] Storm: You know, I'm not

[00:04:09] Storm: the type to sit home and

[00:04:10] Storm: eating

[00:04:11] Storm: bon bonds.

[00:04:12] Storm: So, because of that,

[00:04:14] Storm: and I think definitely

[00:04:15] Storm: the growth,

[00:04:16] Storm: I

[00:04:16] Storm: was just, I was passing out

[00:04:18] Storm: out And

[00:04:19] Storm: I finally, what

[00:04:21] Storm: they

[00:04:22] Storm: determined

[00:04:23] Storm: was I went to the store, which is about

[00:04:25] Storm: two and a half miles away. Ran to

[00:04:28] Storm: store on five knee replacements. Then I went on my

[00:04:31] Storm: way back, I didn't feel right.

[00:04:34] Storm: So I had a bridge to

[00:04:35] Storm: have to go over

[00:04:36] Storm: cuz we're

[00:04:37] Storm: right on the water.

[00:04:38] Storm: And I just didn't feel right.

[00:04:40] Storm: So I called 9 1 1 myself

[00:04:43] Storm: and I had a bag full of

[00:04:45] Storm: one of my son's best friend

[00:04:47] Storm: is one of the extras in the

[00:04:50] Storm: Living

[00:04:50] Storm: Dead. And he

[00:04:52] Storm: was in town and I was gonna make a, a really special meal, which

[00:04:55] Storm: I do with a,

[00:04:56] Storm: you know, and it was gonna be Valentine's but I had a bunch of stuff, but I never made it over the bridge. And they said no. I said, can I just, you know,

[00:05:08] Storm: not realizing how my heart is. I'm

[00:05:11] Storm: like,

[00:05:11] Storm: I just drop it off? They're

[00:05:12] Storm: like, no, we have to get the hospital immediately.

[00:05:15] Lori: It's you're going now.

[00:05:16] Storm: They continued to, To watch me

[00:05:20] Storm: monitor me and realize that my

[00:05:22] Storm: heart was stopping

[00:05:23] Storm: because I

[00:05:24] Storm: already had

[00:05:25] Storm: loop

[00:05:25] Storm: recorder in.

[00:05:26] Storm: And a

[00:05:27] Storm: loop recorder is a small device

[00:05:29] Storm: that they put right underneath the skin.

[00:05:30] Storm: Mm-hmm. It's just a smaller one, and it's not attached to the heart

[00:05:35] Storm: like the

[00:05:35] Storm: pacemaker is, but it sits there and it

[00:05:38] Storm: you.

[00:05:38] Storm: you. I've gotten a

[00:05:40] Storm: of calls that

[00:05:41] Storm: they're like, do you remember this? I'm like, no. They're like, well, your heart

[00:05:44] Storm: for this amount of time last

[00:05:46] Storm: night.

[00:05:47] Storm: Unusually so.

[00:05:50] Storm: they were trying to get me in,

[00:05:51] Storm: I think,

[00:05:51] Storm: prior,

[00:05:52] Storm: but

[00:05:52] Storm: I wasn't going. You're

[00:05:54] Storm: lucky.

[00:05:55] Storm: lucky.

[00:05:55] Lori: I

[00:05:55] Storm: I had to get knocked

[00:05:55] Lori: down. I guess

[00:05:56] Lori: you're so lucky that you actually went and took

[00:05:58] Lori: care of that. Now

[00:05:59] Lori: you were talking about your five knee replacements. Do you think

[00:06:03] Lori: that that started in track and field? I

[00:06:06] Lori: mean,

[00:06:07] Storm: well, the

[00:06:07] Storm: thing is,

[00:06:08] Storm: I

[00:06:08] Storm: remember.

[00:06:10] Storm: when I was in high school

[00:06:12] Storm: playing

[00:06:12] Storm: soccer,

[00:06:13] Storm: I remember

[00:06:13] Storm: one of my knees going out. Mm.

[00:06:16] Storm: And I remember also because

[00:06:18] Storm: riding so

[00:06:19] Storm: like

[00:06:19] Storm: horse riding can really mess up

[00:06:22] Storm: knees. Oh

[00:06:22] Storm: yeah. If you do it,

[00:06:23] Storm: if you

[00:06:24] Storm: it excessively. Mm-hmm.

[00:06:25] Storm: So

[00:06:25] Storm: that

[00:06:26] Storm: top

[00:06:26] Storm: of being

[00:06:27] Storm: an

[00:06:27] Storm: athlete at such a young age, and so being an all American, all star, being

[00:06:34] Storm: competing against guys cause girls were, weren't

[00:06:37] Storm: tough enough for me.

[00:06:38] Storm: Right.

[00:06:39] Storm: You know? I think that

[00:06:40] Storm: had a lot because

[00:06:42] Storm: I was very

[00:06:42] Storm: young

[00:06:44] Storm: doing

[00:06:44] Storm: so much that

[00:06:45] Storm: I think my muscles and my body didn't develop,

[00:06:49] Storm: you know, quick enough. Mm-hmm. So it put a lot

[00:06:51] Storm: wear and tear

[00:06:52] Storm: on

[00:06:52] Storm: my body and so, yeah, I think it did

[00:06:54] Storm: have a lot to do with it.

[00:06:56] Storm: So by

[00:06:56] Storm: the time you being

[00:06:56] Lori: younger and doing that, so by the

[00:06:58] Lori: you got the

[00:06:59] Lori: gladiators and you're hitting and falling and everything else,

[00:07:01] Lori: it just totally screwed

[00:07:02] Storm: up your knees.

[00:07:03] Storm: Totally, because you remember when we were on

[00:07:06] Storm: the tour

[00:07:06] Storm: at Hartford Civic Center, I blew out, that's when

[00:07:09] Storm: my knee popped because I think you pushed a contender into my knee when I was about to body slam

[00:07:16] Storm: a contender and it just ma, it snapped. But you

[00:07:21] Storm: know

[00:07:21] Storm: me, I went out and I told them,

[00:07:23] Storm: just wrap it up,

[00:07:24] Storm: wrap it up, wrap it

[00:07:24] Storm: up.

[00:07:26] Storm: And they

[00:07:26] Storm: wrapped it up. But. I told her for Lisa at least what a month to just wrap

[00:07:31] Storm: up. But

[00:07:31] Storm: it got to the point where, no,

[00:07:33] Storm: it was just gonna,

[00:07:34] Storm: I was gonna do

[00:07:35] Storm: more damage and then they,

[00:07:36] Storm: that's when they forced me

[00:07:38] Storm: off the tour.

[00:07:39] Storm: I got it done at Curlin and job in Inglewood.

[00:07:43] Storm: the knee replacement, and then I was what, back about

[00:07:45] Storm: about a month and a half later.

[00:07:46] Lori: Right. And aren't you supposed

[00:07:48] Lori: to like, let it heal for like six months

[00:07:50] Lori: a year? Yeah. Before you actually supposed to.

[00:07:53] Storm: I

[00:07:53] Storm: know,

[00:07:54] Lori: but you don't do anything you're supposed

[00:07:57] Lori: to do.

[00:07:58] Storm: No, I'm

[00:07:59] Storm: not a

[00:08:00] Storm: to type of girl.

[00:08:04] Storm: Oh my

[00:08:04] Lori: God. How many, how? Wait,

[00:08:06] Lori: how long were you on the tour? Were you, okay, so you got off because your knee

[00:08:12] Lori: Right.

[00:08:13] Lori: But I weren't you on, I thought you were on almost

[00:08:15] Lori: the full

[00:08:16] Storm: time.

[00:08:17] Storm: No, I was off

[00:08:19] Storm: and then

[00:08:19] Storm: I off for just about

[00:08:21] Storm: a month.

[00:08:22] Storm: Okay. And

[00:08:23] Storm: then I came back.

[00:08:23] Lori: Okay. Okay. Yeah. So that's how I was, I mean, that's not that bad. Yeah. What is,let's go back

[00:08:29] Lori: a little bit and Yeah.

[00:08:31] Lori: Cause I was reading

[00:08:32] Lori: something about how you came out to

[00:08:34] Lori: Cali and one

[00:08:36] Lori: of

[00:08:37] Lori: the, one

[00:08:37] Lori: of the producers saw you and wanted you to come in and try out for gladiators.

[00:08:43] Lori: I really, truly never even heard that

[00:08:45] Lori: story. So how did you get on

[00:08:48] Getting on to American Gladiators

[00:08:48] Storm: I

[00:08:48] Storm: was,

[00:08:48] Storm: was

[00:08:48] Storm: just doing a run

[00:08:51] Storm: and

[00:08:51] Storm: I was in the, I was just jogging

[00:08:54] Storm: and

[00:08:55] Storm: I think it was Brian GoodSky

[00:09:00] Storm: who. Notice me,

[00:09:02] Storm: he asked me,

[00:09:03] Storm: he,

[00:09:04] Storm: he saw me.

[00:09:05] Storm: And he asked, gave me

[00:09:07] Storm: his card, and

[00:09:08] Storm: if I would be willing

[00:09:09] Storm: to try out for the gladiators.

[00:09:11] Storm: But I didn't wanna try out to

[00:09:13] Storm: be a gladiator. Lori, I wanted to kick your ass.

[00:09:18] Storm: I wanted,

[00:09:19] Storm: wanted to get on the show

[00:09:21] Storm: to kick the gladiator's asses,

[00:09:24] Storm: but

[00:09:25] Storm: in turn I think

[00:09:26] Storm: I was too good. And they wouldn't let me.

[00:09:29] Storm: Oh, I would, so they asked me to if I would be,

[00:09:32] Storm: you know, if I

[00:09:32] Storm: wanted to be a

[00:09:33] Lori: gladiator. Yeah. I don't think I would've wanted to go up against you. Not

[00:09:37] Lori: all.

[00:09:37] Lori: all.

[00:09:39] Lori: I mean, Peggy Oda, Peggy

[00:09:41] Lori: PEDA was one

[00:09:42] Lori: target

[00:09:42] Storm: and then you become my

[00:09:43] Storm: best friend's.

[00:09:44] Storm: How's that work?

[00:09:44] Lori: was your target.

[00:09:47] Storm: Well, when,

[00:09:47] Storm: when, damn. When I won.

[00:09:48] Storm: If

[00:09:49] Storm: I was to

[00:09:49] Storm: be a, if

[00:09:50] Storm: I was re contender. Yeah,

[00:09:52] Storm: you were definitely the one that I wanted to be. I

[00:09:55] Lori: don't know if you remember, but some of the contenders, like before the show, they were like,

[00:09:59] Lori: get all cocky and come up and go, you know what?

[00:10:02] Lori: I always wanted to kick your ass. And I'd just laugh and go, whatever, you

[00:10:07] Lori: know,

[00:10:08] Lori: bring it on, motherfucker.

[00:10:09] Lori: Let's go. They were always

[00:10:14] Lori: like that. Yeah.

[00:10:14] Lori: And remember, and remember, wait, when the lights

[00:10:16] Lori: the cameras would hit 'em, all of a sudden they'd get all

[00:10:18] Lori: kind of nervous

[00:10:19] Lori: freeze because

[00:10:20] Lori: they weren't

[00:10:20] Lori: used to

[00:10:21] Lori: being on

[00:10:21] Lori: television. I was like, yeah, that's what I thought. Motherfucker.

[00:10:24] Storm: and the thing

[00:10:25] Storm: is, it's not so easy.

[00:10:27] Storm: it's not as easy as it

[00:10:29] Lori: but I used to, I remember some of 'em would come

[00:10:32] Lori: I'd just, and then some of 'em, remember they'd be

[00:10:35] Lori: together as kind of like a small group and go, she's going down.

[00:10:39] Storm: We just kinda, I can't remember. We used to make, we used

[00:10:43] Storm: to make bats.

[00:10:45] Storm: Yes, when the, the, the gladiators

[00:10:48] Storm: Yes.

[00:10:48] Storm: Saying how we were gonna take

[00:10:50] Storm: down and who we

[00:10:50] Storm: were gonna take down.

[00:10:52] Storm: Oh

[00:10:52] Storm: my God. That, that geared us up. That, that, that,fuel to the fire.

[00:10:56] Storm: Oh man.

[00:10:57] Lori: It sure did. And it's so funny cuz right, when you mentioned Brian

[00:11:00] Lori: you know what I thought of? He, he came into

[00:11:02] Lori: my mind

[00:11:02] Lori: and all I remember is those damn Hawaiian

[00:11:05] Lori: shorts that

[00:11:06] Lori: used to wear

[00:11:07] Lori: right in the locker room.

[00:11:08] Lori: He was dorky.

[00:11:09] Storm: He

[00:11:09] Storm: such a

[00:11:10] Storm: dork.

[00:11:11] Lori: He was such

[00:11:14] Lori: dork. But man, I mean, so do you think that like there was some serious

[00:11:20] Lori: drama or competition between the

[00:11:22] Lori: girls? come

[00:11:25] Storm: on. Well, on the set. Yeah.

[00:11:27] Lori: Behind the scenes. Behind the

[00:11:29] Lori: on the set, on the

[00:11:30] Lori: tour. Come on. We know there was,

[00:11:34] Storm: yeah. But the thing is, I'll tell you, Lori,

[00:11:37] Storm: I get that as all the time,

[00:11:40] Storm: but.

[00:11:41] Storm: As far

[00:11:41] Storm: as a group goes. You, me,

[00:11:46] Storm: diamond, zap,

[00:11:50] Storm: Shelly,

[00:11:53] Storm: I mean,

[00:11:53] Storm: Shirley, even Shelly. Mm-hmm. There's a, there was a time where

[00:11:58] Storm: the, we

[00:11:59] Storm: got along wonderfully. Oh yeah. Absolutely. Like, like, no, Dr. You know, I heard about drama

[00:12:05] Storm: I

[00:12:05] Storm: left the show. Mm-hmm. But, and heard drama before I, I was on the show,

[00:12:11] Storm: but I

[00:12:11] Storm: gotta be honest you,

[00:12:13] Storm: the, you and

[00:12:14] Storm: we didn't have a lot

[00:12:15] Storm: drama.

[00:12:15] Storm: We

[00:12:16] Storm: were like

[00:12:16] Storm: focused on becoming a unit. I think that's

[00:12:20] Storm: why at that time, there's a time when we truly did bond.

[00:12:26] Storm: And

[00:12:26] Storm: we really had each other's back and we really wanted,

[00:12:31] Storm: like, we rooted for

[00:12:32] Storm: each other, not only on stage, but off, because. I

[00:12:37] Storm: know if you remember the time that I

[00:12:38] Storm: needed you and

[00:12:39] Storm: you

[00:12:40] Storm: were there for me.

[00:12:40] Storm: Absolutely. I

[00:12:41] Storm: did. Cause,

[00:12:42] Storm: cuz I

[00:12:42] Storm: was having relationship problems. Mm-hmm. And I remember having to jump off my

[00:12:47] Storm: second floor balcony, get on my, my my

[00:12:50] Storm: motorcycle, which we also had

[00:12:52] Storm: in common. Yep. Because remember you and I

[00:12:53] Storm: I did the Sandra Bernhardt documentary. Yeah. That's

[00:12:57] Lori: when I had my Harley Davidson.

[00:12:59] Storm: Exactly.

[00:13:00] Storm: And she asked us if we would be willing, cuz

[00:13:03] Storm: there were a couple of other Harley chicks

[00:13:06] Storm: mm-hmm. If

[00:13:06] Storm: we would be willing to

[00:13:08] Storm: escort her through Hollywood Hills in her little red Corvette. I remember that.

[00:13:12] Storm: that.

[00:13:13] Storm: Yeah.

[00:13:13] Lori: That was

[00:13:14] Storm: was so cool.

[00:13:15] Storm: And she worked out at the same gold gym that you and I

[00:13:17] Storm: out

[00:13:17] Storm: at. Yep.

[00:13:18] Storm: Whatever happened to her and yeah.

[00:13:20] Storm: And she

[00:13:20] Storm: asked us to do that and, but you, but we bonded and there was a time, that time

[00:13:25] Storm: I really needed you,

[00:13:26] Storm: because I was like,

[00:13:29] Storm: In

[00:13:29] Storm: a,

[00:13:30] Storm: a relationship. And went to your ho, I called you and

[00:13:35] Storm: you're like, storm death. Yes. You're more than welcome to come over.

[00:13:40] Storm: So

[00:13:41] Storm: you came over.

[00:13:41] Storm: So I came over and you really helped me. But then when I got back,

[00:13:45] Storm: I didn't realize the person I was in a

[00:13:47] Storm: relationship with

[00:13:48] Storm: up calling

[00:13:49] Storm: my parents

[00:13:50] Storm: and telling them

[00:13:51] Storm: about my sexuality and everything that, things that I told her

[00:13:55] Storm: about

[00:13:56] Storm: my

[00:13:57] Storm: as a child. She wanted to sit there and tell

[00:14:00] Storm: my parents, wow,

[00:14:02] Lori: you know, people on the outside.

[00:14:03] Lori: It's I I,

[00:14:05] Lori: got outed when I was in high school

[00:14:08] Lori: by a girl that was very jealous

[00:14:10] Lori: of relationship that

[00:14:11] Lori: I was in, and she called my mom. I

[00:14:14] Lori: was in high school. I mean, why I don't understand people, but

[00:14:17] Lori: that's another, that's, that's on them, whatever.

[00:14:20] Storm: But it's, I mean, it's

[00:14:21] Storm: unfortunate that, you know,

[00:14:23] Storm: know, In our situation, even like, I

[00:14:26] Storm: don't know if you wanna talk about it now, on the show, we weren't really able to be us.

[00:14:31] Lori: No, we weren't. We weren't.

[00:14:33] Lori: mean, absolutely.

[00:14:34] Lori: I mean, I, I don't know. What

[00:14:37] Lori: happened and

[00:14:38] Lori: what you went through as far

[00:14:40] Lori: as like being gay and what they stopped

[00:14:43] Lori: you from or if they even tried to, whatever. But I remember I had

[00:14:48] Lori: a manager at one point

[00:14:49] Lori: time when I was on

[00:14:50] Lori: the gladiators

[00:14:51] Lori: and, there's other people on

[00:14:54] Lori: the gladiators.

[00:14:54] Lori: It was not, I was not supposed to

[00:14:57] Lori: gay, but

[00:14:57] Lori: it was like, at that

[00:14:58] Lori: time it was not cool to be gay and you weren't supposed to say anything.

[00:15:02] Lori: You weren't supposed to talk about it.

[00:15:03] Lori: And

[00:15:04] Lori: I

[00:15:04] Storm: was told, and we couldn't bring our, we couldn't bring our girlfriends around the

[00:15:07] Storm: I was told that it would

[00:15:08] Lori: kill my

[00:15:08] Storm: my careers.

[00:15:10] Storm: Mm-hmm. I remember we did a

[00:15:12] Storm: Ronald McDonald gig. And they told Told us specifically cause of its children. They told

[00:15:19] Storm: specifically we weren't

[00:15:20] Storm: able to bring our girlfriends

[00:32:06] Storm: getting into movies or stuff like that, but I did

[00:33:04] Storm: I would, sometimes I

[00:33:58] Lori: like, no, it's really hard to get in. It's, and you're right. There was this very, very small group. And all the jobs went out to them constantly. Yeah. Yeah. It's

[00:34:34] Storm: together. And I remember the event we did, which for her was a bad mistake. Mm. Because remember when,

[00:34:46] Storm: a bungee

[00:34:47] Storm: One person's in front has the bungee cord they're facing

[00:34:52] Storm: Mm-hmm. And there's a person behind them

[00:34:55] Storm: a bungee. Right. Holding them. Right. And so the person in front would

[00:35:48] Storm: able to cut out some of

[00:35:49] Storm: competitions. You're terrible next.

[00:36:02] Lori: the most amazing place you got to travel? When we were doing gladiators because we got to do personal appearances

[00:36:08] Lori: we traveled around the United States. But is there some place

[00:36:10] Lori: actually sticks out in your mind that was like

[00:36:12] Lori: super cool

[00:36:13] Storm: to go to? Well, I, I gotta tell you, and it's kinda weird, but, the Hartford Civic Center, because I'm from Connecticut. That's not weird. That's kinda cool.

[00:37:17] Storm: didn't have the half heptathlon until I went to college.

[00:37:26] Storm: you how advanced I was. Right. But I

[00:37:31] Storm: I had this guy who just emailed me, I think his name was Mark, he says,

[00:37:38] Storm: but it was in the class of such and

[00:37:41] Storm: such. I wasn't that

[00:37:43] Storm: that good of an

[00:37:43] Storm: athlete, but I

[00:37:46] Storm: the drills that you made us do,

[00:37:48] Storm: like the hills

[00:37:50] Storm: and,

[00:37:51] Storm: and stuff that

[00:37:52] Storm: I was taught to do.

[00:37:53] Storm: Mm-hmm. he said it made him a,

[00:37:56] Storm: a

[00:37:57] Storm: a 1992, he

[00:37:58] Storm: became Athlete of the Year. And he went on to teach his son my,

[00:38:04] Storm: some of my techniques. And now he's, a tri, a very

[00:38:07] Storm: elite triathlete.

[00:38:32] Storm: her, I said, look, could you pull up Jessica's such, such and such? because

[00:38:40] Storm: here.

[00:38:43] Storm: and they said, well, who are you? And I said,

[00:38:44] Storm: well, I'm Debbie Clark,

[00:38:46] Storm: Storm and the receptionist. She jumped up,

[00:38:52] Storm: I know who you are. And she started crying. Wow. And

[00:38:59] Storm: my gosh. I watched you. And then she was talking about the events that she loved and how she always wanted to be doing and,

[00:39:07] Storm: whole time she's

[00:39:08] Storm: crying.

[00:39:11] Storm: it's moments

[00:39:12] Storm: like that. Yeah. That I think,

[00:39:16] Storm: I get emotional. Yeah. Because it's moments like that.

[00:40:23] Storm: with an announcer. Mm-hmm. And at the time, Kim was

[00:40:30] Storm: our makeup artist.

[00:40:31] Storm: Right. You can put two and two together. Right. I was telling

[00:40:35] Storm: her about what I, because I was close to Kim at

[00:40:39] Storm: time. She

[00:40:39] Storm: was cool. Right. So I was telling her

[00:40:42] Storm: the warning signs that I

[00:40:43] Storm: I saw. And because of that,

[00:40:46] Storm: calling an announcer

[00:40:48] Storm: on his stuff, they didn't want me back on the

[00:40:51] Storm: show. Wow. That's

[00:40:53] Storm: sad.

[00:40:54] Storm: And

[00:40:54] Storm: I know for a fact.

[00:40:55] Lori: Okay,

[00:40:56] Lori: so they didn't ask you back then

[00:40:59] Lori: what happened? Where'd

[00:41:02] Storm: it's like, you

[00:41:04] Storm: talk about being in the limelight

[00:41:06] Storm: and stuff and then not being, there's a huge void in your life. Huge. There's a huge transition.

[00:41:14] Storm: Yes. Because it gets to the point where it, it's very addictive.

[00:41:21] Storm: becomes you. know what

[00:41:25] Lori: for me, I hear what

[00:41:27] Lori: saying because it was like, it's your identity,

[00:41:30] Lori: I mean your identity.

[00:41:31] Lori: a while you were storm

[00:41:33] Lori: and then all of a sudden you're not,

[00:41:35] Lori: I mean,

[00:41:35] Lori: you're always gonna be storm, but then all of a sudden you were not. So there, it's that identity. I went

[00:41:41] Lori: major depression when the show ended, and I was no

[00:41:45] Lori: longer in the

[00:41:46] Lori: limelight. So keep going. I hear what you're saying.

[00:42:10] Storm: could have drank the way that I did

[00:42:12] Storm: and functioned that high.

[00:42:15] Storm: no way. Even though some of the gladiators

[00:42:18] Storm: at the end of the show is like to juice it up a little bit. Oh yeah.

[00:42:23] Storm: than a little bit. I, that's another, that's another thing why I

[00:43:06] Storm: really remember.

[00:43:07] Storm: Okay. there are parts of my life that

[00:43:11] Storm: Mm-hmm. But, I just know that I,

[00:43:14] Storm: It got to the point where

[00:43:15] Storm: I got bad and then,

[00:43:18] Storm: you know, my parents had won the lottery, so they moved to Myrtle Beach and I ended up going back to Myrtle Beach.

[00:43:29] Storm: like they say, you go from the fire,

[00:43:30] Storm: the, the, the, the, the fire into the frying pan.

[00:43:36] Storm: a, a nightclub owner and a bouncer

[00:43:40] Storm: of the hot, the the top gay, the top

[00:43:47] Storm: that told me

[00:43:48] Storm: that she remembers me throwing her roommate

[00:43:51] Storm: puddle of mud because he was being rude and I

[00:43:54] Storm: had to bounce him out of the club

[00:43:57] Storm: and, and I just got it today.

[00:44:00] Storm: weird. But,

[00:44:02] Storm: cuz in, in Myrtle Beach there's a lot

[00:44:04] Storm: strip joints and, and. Like if

[00:44:07] Storm: you're not working there, you're not gonna make it.

[00:44:13] Storm: the morning, in the day I was a

[00:44:14] Storm: trainer. Mm-hmm. A

[00:44:21] Storm: bars in Myrtle Beach until six

[00:44:24] Storm: o'clock in the morning.

[00:44:26] Storm: I was running myself down. Right. Because I was trying to, I think, fill that void.

[00:44:33] Lori: then I heard you were in San Diego

[00:44:35] Lori: for a while

[00:44:37] Lori: and somebody said, I mean, you know,

[00:44:39] Lori: obviously it's

[00:44:41] Lori: internet, Google articles to

[00:44:44] Lori: you were

[00:44:44] Lori: you were

[00:44:44] Lori: actually homeless living on the street for a little Yes. Well, yes. That must

[00:44:49] Lori: have been scary as

[00:44:51] Storm: Well, the thing it was, and not only that,

[00:44:55] Storm: it's scary

[00:44:56] Storm: by yourself. Yeah. But imagine having

[00:46:06] Storm: came across this guy called Sean. And, Sean Shepherd, and

[00:46:20] Storm: room at my You come over to my house, come over to my house,

[00:46:55] Storm: And not only that, listen, Sherry Shepherd from the View Offered to pay six months rent for Creighton and I to have our own

[00:47:33] Lori: Yeah. There's a, there's a whole article he wrote on the internet about

[00:48:24] Storm: Sean and how he was controlling and everything. Do you know he was right outside the door.

[00:48:47] Storm: Then on top of it, one of my exes got ahold of

[00:48:50] Storm: him. He didn't know I was gay. Mm-hmm.

[00:48:53] Storm: So now that means he doesn't

[00:48:55] Storm: have a chance

[00:48:55] Storm: with Right.

[00:48:56] Storm: So all, all at once

[00:49:00] Storm: in, within about

[00:49:01] Storm: an hour,

[00:49:01] Storm: he told me to pack my

[00:49:03] Storm: shit.

[00:49:03] Storm: Exactly. Creighton was in school.

[00:49:06] Storm: He

[00:49:06] Storm: told me to pack my shit and he dropped me off at St. Vincent's.

[00:49:12] Storm: Where you have to,

[00:49:13] Storm: it's

[00:49:13] Storm: a process to get into

[00:49:14] Storm: St. Vincent's, right?

[00:49:16] Storm: No money.

[00:49:17] Storm: He,

[00:49:17] Storm: didn't gimme

[00:49:17] Storm: any money or anything.

[00:49:20] Storm: He basically told me to f off,

[00:49:23] Storm: kept all the money. And not only that,

[00:49:26] Storm: Sherry Shepherd

[00:49:27] Storm: invite gave

[00:49:28] Storm: me and, and

[00:49:29] Storm: Sean tickets to go to her wedding

[00:49:31] Storm: because he fled her

[00:49:33] Storm: to give him the money towards his foundation.

[00:49:37] Storm: when he went, she told me that he tried to sit there

[00:51:33] Storm: I hear this woman crying and I look down and she's in the hall and she's asking for help, but

[00:51:41] Storm: keys or food or books, all that stuff,

[00:51:44] Storm: but it's not helping

[00:51:45] Storm: her

[00:51:46] Storm: get

[00:51:46] Storm: out of the hole.

[00:51:47] Storm: Right. So until

[00:51:48] Storm: one day I go back to the hole

[00:51:51] Storm: and I jump in.

[00:51:53] Storm: Mm-hmm. And she says,

[00:51:55] Storm: stupid messed

[00:51:56] Storm: thing to do.

[00:51:56] Storm: Now we're both stuck. And I tell her, no,

[00:54:40] Lori: way.
